Iodine is a valuable natural resource essential to both the human body and high-tech areas, to which we serve through customers not only in Japan but also in many countries in the world. Our share in the global iodine market is among the highest.

GLOBAL OPERATION BASES

Our major operation bases are located in Chiba Prefecture and Miyazaki Prefecture in Japan. In Chiba, we produce iodine, iodine derivatives, natural gas, nickel and cobalt compounds and other products, - and also conduct research and development activities. In Miyazaki, we produce iodine and natural gas. We also produce iodine and natural gas in our US subsidiary, Woodward Iodine Corporation. We are thus serving to the world market from our production bases in Japan and U.S.A.
