Iodine has an extremely wide range of uses, from foodstuffs/medicines to industrial applications such as electronic materials. At Ise Chemicals, we produce and supply high-quality iodine for nearly all of these uses. However, we also develop and manufacture a variety of iodine compounds utilizing our proprietary methods developed through manufacturing basic iodine products. In doing so, our aim is to supply new products that are easier to use and that meet the needs of customers. By carrying out R&D from such a standpoint, we are encouraging further diversification of iodine-related applications and striving to expand the overall iodine market.

Promoting creation of innovative technologies and comprehensive development of materials.

In recent years, nickel and cobalt compounds have increasingly been used as battery materials and in other high-tech fields.

Within these fields, demand for materials performance continues to be particularly strong.

In response, Ise Chemicals is improving materials performance as well as augmenting its product line, both by developing new technologies and by further refining existing ones.

Rather than merely pursuing higher materials performance and quality, however, we are striving to promote a comprehensive development of materials based on better understanding of perspectives of our customers.

Toward this end, we continue to hold regular, detailed discussions with our customers.
